Directors Bill Troock and Bill Weaver have put together yet another topnotch World Highland Dancing Conference which promises a variety of sessions taught by world-renowned teachers, judges, and other professionals from all over the world. No matter what role you play in highland dancing—whether you are a teacher, judge, dancer, or organizer—this conference offers something of value for everyone. You won't want to miss it!

 

Our 2015 conference will offer a wide selection of workshops, educational sessions, and social events, not to mention the ever popular “Golden Ghillies” awards and the World Highland Dancing Conference Café, where each of the examining bodies will be represented and available for questioning. Other features include a welcome reception, the “Technical Team Challenge,” and plenty of exciting new sessions, including classes designed specifically for Premier dancers. All this excitement packed into just three days makes for an incredible weekend of highland dancing enjoyment.

 

In the past, our conferences have focused on Past Champions, Men of Highland Dancing, the Evolution of Highland Dancing, and the Evolution of the SOBHD over the last 50 years of its existence. This year our theme is "The Music of Highland Dancing."
